Photos: Berkley Art Bash Brings More Than 100 Artists Downtown

12 Mile Road was filled with people, art and music Saturday during the 10th annual event.

The rain held off and the sun even peaked out occasionally during the 10th annual Berkley Art Bash, which brought a large crowd downtown to see the works of more than 100 artists from Metro Detroit and beyond.

Music, art and the aroma of freshly prepared food filled Twelve Mile Road as visitors checked out the displays and kids frolicked in the bounce house or got faux tattoos.

owner and Berkley Art Bash organizer April McCrumb said the event has grown each year and that she was pleased with the turnout Saturday.

Berkley Patch served as a sponsor of Berkley Art Bash, and editor Leslie Ellis and ad manager Jarrod Dambro were on hand to chat with visitors. A Kids Creation Station at the Patch.com table was a big hit with the little ones, who showed just how creative they could get with some construction paper, glue, glitter, markers and puff balls.
