Beloved 'Titanic' Returns in 3D Today

The award-winning film is coming back to the big screen to mark the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the famed ship.

The infamous line from the blockbuster film Titanic takes on new meaning this week as the film returns to theaters on Wednesday — this time in 3D.

The film comes back to the big screen just in time for the 100-year anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic on April 14-15.

Titanic premiered in 1997 and went on to become the second-highest grossing film of all-time, making more than $1.8 billion worldwide. Critics loved the film just as much as fans, as proved by its 11 Oscar wins, including Best Picture.

Besides getting a 3D makeover, the film will be largely the same as it was 15 years ago, with a PG-13 rating and a run time of more than three hours.

Titanic will also be shown in 2D and IMAX 3D at some theaters. At , the film will be the first to be shown in the new "Emagine Entertainment Experience," which features extra-large floor-to-ceiling screens.
