Nominate Your Huntington Woods Neighbors for Recognition

Nominations for Citizen of the Year and other categories due to the Civic Award Committee by May 31.

The city of Huntington Woods needs your help as it continues its tradition of recognizing citizens for their contributions to the community.

Nominations are currently being sought for deserving residents in the following categories, according to the city's spring newsletter:

  • Citizen of the Year: For long-standing and noteworthy service, making Huntington Woods a better place in which to live.
  • Senior Citizen of the Year: For a resident, 65 years or better, who has continued to make contributions that make the city great.
  • Virginia Jones Spirit Award: For a 6-12th grader who has exhibited involvement and dedication to the city.

How to submit nominations

Nomination forms are available at all city offices. Residents are asked to send in the name, the award category and include the reasons for their nomination by May 31 to:
