Learn to Foster Pets, See a Puppet Show and Find Out What Santa is Reading

The Berkley Public Library has a full slate of programs planned for December.

The Berkley Public Library has announced details for its December programs:

Adopting and Fostering Household Pets: Interested in learning about adopting and fostering household pets?  Laurie Stadther, Community Outreach Coordinator for the Michigan Humane Society, will cover a range of topics from locations, events, cost, volunteering and more!  This free program is open to all and will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m.  To register, stop by the Adult Reference desk or call (248) 658-3440.

Family Puppet Show: On Saturday, Dec. 7 at 2 p.m., Once Upon a Puppet will present the “Merry Christmas Caper,” a holiday puppet show.  On Christmas Eve, the Chief Elf and the Christmas Mouse have a mystery to solve…who has stolen the toys from Santa’s Workshop? Join us to find out!  Sponsored by the Friends of the Berkley Public Library.  This program is reserved for Berkley residents, who can register at the Children’s desk or call (248) 658-3440.
