'Daffopalooza' Puts Down Roots in Huntington Woods

Residents can order bags of 10 daffodil bulbs for $5 from April 15 through Aug. 1.

"Daffopalooza" is putting down roots in Huntington Woods.

Residents can order bags of 10 daffodil bulbs for $5 from April 15 through Aug. 1 as part of the program.

"Help start a new annual event and watch HW bloom year after year," says the official "Daffopalooza" order form (see attached PDF).

Order forms may be mailed to DPW at 12795 W. 11 Mile Road or placed in an envelope marked "DPW Daffodils" and left at City Hall or in the drop-box outside City Hall. Payments of cash or checks made out to "City of Huntington Woods" will be accepted.

Bulbs can be picked up Oct. 6 in conjunction with the annual electronics, metal and book drop-off and shredder event at the Department of Public Works.
