Girl Scouts Share Holiday Cheer With Senior Citizens

Troops from Rogers Elementary School visited residents of Oxford Towers in Berkley on Dec. 9 to sing carols and snack on cookies and juice.

Local Girl Scouts spread some holiday cheer recently during a visit to Oxford Towers in Berkley.

Troop members from Rogers Elementary School sang Christmas carols and shared cookies and juice with dozens of seniors who live in the high-rise apartment building. The girls sported festive Santa hats and the residents wore smiles.
