Why this car? My family always had Pintos when I was growing up. I was looking for something similar, and it turns out this model is fairly rare. Most Pintos were four-cylinder except those for Colorado and California, which had six-cylinder engines because they had air conditioning. There were only 21,000 of them made in 1976.
What’s special about Woodward and the Dream Cruise? I actually cruise Woodward in my car every nice weekend evening in the summer and have done so ever since high school. I like the diversity of the Dream Cruise. It’s a rare and one-of-a-kind event that brings people from all over to one place. I see license plates from Texas, California, Oklahoma, and everyone is trying to experience the magic and fun of Woodward.
