Bagger Dave's, Children's Leukemia Foundation of Michigan Join Forces

Stop by the burger chain's Berkley location to show your support for the 2013 Hearts of Hope campaign.

Diners at Bagger Dave’s during the month of February can participate in the Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan’s 2013 Hearts of Hope campaign.

Money raised through the sale of $1 pin-up hearts at the burger chain's Michigan locations – including Ann Arbor, Berkley, Bloomfield Township, Brighton, Cascade Township, East Lansing, Grand Rapids, Holland, Novi and Shelby Township – will be used to help support families dealing with blood diseases.

Diners can write a personalized message on each heart they buy, all of which will be displayed at the restaurant.

“We are proud to offer our support to the children and families that benefit from the Children’s Leukemia Foundation,” said T. Michael Ansley, president and CEO of Diversified Restaurant Holdings, Inc., the owner and operator Bagger Dave’s. “Each dollar donated at the restaurants will stay here in Michigan and directly benefit families in our communities as they experience one of the most difficult situations imaginable.”

The Hearts of Hope campaign aims to help more than 4,500 Michigan families affected by leukemia, lymphoma and related blood disorders who have turned to the Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan for financial assistance and emotional support, according to a press release.
