Michigan’s leading virtual and blended learning schools – Michigan Connections Academy, Great Lakes Cyber Academy and Nexus Academy’s three campuses in Grand Rapids, Lansing and Royal Oak – are inviting families and students looking for an individualized approach to learning to see their programs first-hand, meet teachers and learn more about what each school offers.
Throughout the summer, each school will be hosting free information sessions and open houses for parents and students. These events provide families a sneak peek into the innovative approach these high-quality schools, featuring Michigan-certified teachers and award-winning curriculum, offer all students.
“As a parent, being more involved in the learning process has been a very rewarding process,” said Debra Snider, whose child attends Great Lakes Cyber Academy. “The teachers and staff have been great to work with and are readily available to help answer any questions. I would highly recommend GLCA to anyone looking to guide their child's future and education through a positive and successful education option.”
Space is limited at each school, so early enrollment is encouraged for those families interested in attending one of these virtual or blended learning schools. For a list of information sessions and open houses taking place at each school this summer, please visit:
“I love the ease of not having to wait for a traditional report card or progress report to see how well she is doing in school,” said Andrea Moss a parent of a Nexus Academy student. “I'm able to log into Connexus and see what her grade point average is, as well as her individual grades for each subject, at any time. I also love the fact that Nicole is happier. Seeing her enjoy learning is worth millions to me.”
