Our Lady of La Salette Christmas Tree Lot Is Open for Business

Find out when you can pick up a tree, which types are available, and what you can expect to pay. Sales benefit the Berkley Catholic school's sports programs.

Families looking for a Christmas tree need travel no farther than Berkley, where they can snag a spruce or fetch a fir at Our Lady of La Salette.

The tree lot's sales will benefit the Catholic school's sports programs, including uniforms and equipment, booster Dan Pennington said.

Fraser and Douglas firs, as well as Scotch and white pines, are available for $35-$90; wreaths are available for $25-$30; and roping is available for $25-$40, he said.

"We have a pretty established customer base. We sell out our trees every year," Pennington said. "But, we are starting to see more competition from (places like) Home Depot and English Gardens."

The local lot has the following hours.

  • 6-9 p.m. Monday through Friday
  • 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday
  • 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday

"It's all for a good cause – it's for the kids," Pennington said.
