It may be the last day of January, but apparently nobody told Mother Nature.

The National Weather Service predicts a high of 55 degrees Tuesday under mostly sunny skies with southwest winds gusting to 21 mph in Berkley and Huntington Woods.

The fair weather could be a treat for die-hard golfers if the snow melts at Rackham Golf Course, which is playing its decision on whether to open by ear, and bikers who likely will don their spandex and hit the streets. Alas, snow lovers will have to watch the blanket of white stuff that fell over the weekend fade.
