Welcome back, Patch Blogger!

Nominate the Best Festival in the Area

Let us know what you think is the best festival in Ferndale, Berkley, Huntington Woods, Royal Oak, Birmingham and Clawson so we can put it to a vote and find out which is the Readers’ Choice 2012 winner.

What is the best festival in the south Oakland County area?

Patch is relaunching its Readers’ Choice program and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers and anyone else who knows about Ferndale, Berkley, Huntington Woods, Royal Oak, Birmingham and Clawson to nominate the best festival in our area.

We’ll keep accepting nominations through July 9. After that, nominations will be closed and we’ll start the voting, so make sure to get in your favorites now.

All you need to do to nominate a festival is to add it in the comments below. If you already see the festival you want to nominate, make sure to add your comment about why it should be included, because we may not be able to add all festivals nominated to our poll and we want to make sure the top ones make it into the poll.

Thanks in advance for your participation.

P.S.: Sign up for the newsletter for the Patch in your town to find out when voting starts so you can support your favorite festival in the Readers' Choice contest.

Got to stick with the Blues Festival on this one. Funky Ferndale Art Fair is cool but needs to add some spice and I with the Ferndale film Festival was better

Umm hello the 4th of July festival in Clawson is a long standing tradition. Wether it is the parade, the carnival in the park, the art festival, or the frieworks there is nothing like the 4th if you have never experienced it then it is a must.

Not quite a festival, but the RO Garage Sale and accompanying sidewalk sales make for a great event (this weekend).

Arts beats and eats without a doubt. I volunteered last year a few days and the people who work it as volunteers are so wonderful and giving of their time and energy. Always smiling and making sure it's a good time. What a wonderful family event. I can't wait for this years to work it again.
