Crispelli's, Tentatively Set to Open Feb. 28 in Berkley, is Hiring

The restaurant – which will include a stone pizza oven, an in-house bakery, a deli bar and two outdoor patios – wants to fill at least 10 positions.

Diners won't have to wait much longer for the eagerly anticipated opening of Crispelli's restaurant in Berkley: The location is tentatively expected to open Feb. 28 and hiring is under way, developer Glen Willson said Friday.

The Woodward Avenue restaurant – which will include a stone pizza oven, an in-house bakery, retail space, a deli bar and two outdoor patios – is nearing completion and looking for staff members, he said.

"We have all our approvals from the Board of Health and Liquor Control," Willson said Friday. "Our final inspection by the city will be next week and we don't expect any problems."

Interested applicants can persuse a list of job openings and find applications on Crispelli's' website, which remains under development, Willson said. The 10  posted positions include head pizza chef, assistant general manager and cashier.

"We're very much looking forward to opening," Willson said. "It's been a long process. We think we have the right business model for this community."

The decor/design looks very interesting. Hope the food is just as appealing. Can't wait!
