Bank of America/Merrill Lynch cardholders can get out of the sun next weekend with the chance to visit local museums for free.

The national bank will sponsor the Museums on Us program, which allows cardholders nationwide to visit more than 150 museums for free on Saturday and Sunday.

In Metro Detroit, that includes The Henry Ford and Greenfield Village, the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, the Detroit Children’s Museum, the Detroit Historical Museum, the Flint Institute of Arts and the Motown Museum.

Photo ID and a valid Bank of America/Merrill Lynch credit or debit card must be presented. The offer includes one free general admission, limited to the cardholder at participating institutions, and excluding fundraising events, special exhibitions and ticketed shows.
